Born and raised in northern Idaho, Holland developed a taste for adventure at a young age, and that has carried him through to his career in one of the most daring sports there is. A snowboard cross specialist, he defines the sports chaotic style going all-out in every race.

In perhaps the most competitive year in snowboarding history, Ellery held her own. Continually pushing women's pipe riding, Ellery stepped up by stomped a few cab 10's this past season, and remains one of the few women to have achieved such a feat.
