Your Melon
Helmet -
When buying a ski helmet, make sure your ski goggles still fit on your face when they are attached to the helmet. Snowboarding is a physically demanding sport that could result in serious injury. We at SnowChatter recommend that you seek proper training and equipment before attempting this activity.
Goggles -
Snowboarding goggles are an absolutely necessary piece of sporting equipment. Goggles provide necessary protection for your eyes and also keep your eyes from drying out while you are snowboarding, so there is also a degree of improved vision when you wear goggles.
Beanies -
The beanie is an important piece of snowboarding equipment. This is not so much because it will provide any form of crash protection (because it won't), but because it helps to maintain body warmth and to keep the snowboarder comfortable. A comfortable snowboarder is a happy snowboarder. Consult the weather forecast before buying a beanie. Obviously, you will want to buy a thin beanie for warm weather conditions and a thick beanie for cold weather conditions.
